There is so much to be excited about at the Catholic Student Center this semester! Our six new missionaries from St. Paul Outreach -- Liz, Genevieve, Annie, Sam, Quinn, and Teddy -- are a wonderful addition to the CSC team! We are happy to report that they are doing fantastic work with our students, and that they have become an integral part of the ministry. Because of our missionaries, we are able to evangelize the campus and reach depths in their formation that were not possible before. In addition to the great work of our missionaries, we have been keeping strong with solid attendance at Bulls Nights and Men’s and Women’s Groups. We also launched on-campus Bible Study small groups in the past month, and we are already seeing much good fruit from those. We were also blessed to take over 40 students on our Fall Retreat the weekend of October 15-16. The Holy Spirit showed up in powerful ways to touch the hearts of our students. Finally, we are pleased to announce that the Catholic Student Center has added two new members to our team! First, Mrs. Caitlin Nocera joins us as our Development Coordinator. Caitlin holds a degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and we know she will do a fantastic job helping us to spread the great news of what is happening here at USF, and building our donor base to make even more ministry possible. Second, we are overjoyed to welcome back Deacon Frank Julian! Deacon Frank will be our business manager, and additionally he will serve the CSC once again ministerially as a deacon. These truly are the first, best choices for these hires. We are grateful to both Caitlin and Deacon Frank for their ”yes” to join the CSC family. As always, we thank you for partnering in our mission with your prayers and support. We are still working toward our 2022-2023 fundraising goal of $165,000. Every gift, no matter how small, furthers the evangelization of the campus and the formation of the next generation of Catholics. Together, we will bring the light of Jesus Christ and His Church to the University of South Florida! Please know that I am praying for you. May God bless you!
